Where does the name "You's Travelers" come from?

While traveling on an extended backpacking journey through SE Asia, my wife and I made friends with some Scottish footballers (soccer players). We went out with them one night, and they wouldn’t let us pay for a single drink. They kept on telling us ..."you's travelers", meaning that because we were off on an extended backpacking journey, and they were just on vacation, they felt that we should conserve our money, and let them buy our drinks. Needless to say, we accepted and loved being told that "you's travelers". Ever since that day, the expression "you's travelers" has taken on its own meaning. We say it whenever helping a fellow traveler or helping somebody continue on their journey. I will always smile each time I hear someone say "you's travelers", and give a helping hand.
